At the January BAMQG meeting, I picked up a quilt from the charity table to take home to quilt. I didn’t look at the top itself but the backing fabric was kinda cute. On Thursdays evening after work I decided to open the bundle up and iron it and get it ready to put on the frame for the weekend.  Oh what a cute quilt top appeared from the bundle. I got it ironed and on the frame and about a 1/3 of it quilted before going to bed and  then finished it up on Friday night.

Here are a series of pictures I took during the quilt process, some of the individual blocks:

It was such a fun top to quilt, I decided against an edge to edge  design but to quilt different  designs in the sections.  I   used some of my own designs for the cute blocks   and for the blue areas I used   designs  that came with my Prostitcher and some free designs from Lisa Calle.

I love how fresh and crisp the fabric is and I think the quilting adding some great texture and interest to an over all awesome quilt.
