Leapfrog quilt is all done!

With our recent move and other things keeping me from just sewing for fun, a few weeks ago I just NEEDED to make a quilt and finish it. I did a search on Pinterest and found this quilt

leapfrog

Which lead me to this blog Project 12 Quilts and I am so happy I have found it as there are some really great quilts and I love that Janeen on the blog states ” hope is to “craft for a cause”; to give to others while doing something I love”  Her story is awesome, you can read about it here http://www.project12quilts.com/search/label/About%20Me.The blog has tutorials and patterns  for wonderful fresh modern quilts that Janeen encourages people to use for charity quilts.

I picked the Leapfrog pattern as I had a set of fat quarters that I wanted to use with some Kona white.

I will let the pictures and the captions tell the story of how it was made………….

it was such a wonderful project to work on. The top sewed up quickly and was just what I needed to get back into the swing of making quilts!

It is now sitting on the sofa and I have about  1/3 of the binding hand sewn and slowly but surely getting done!

I am also sew happy that I found this blog today and I can join into with a fellow quilter in South Africa’s Anything goes Monday linky party – check it out here Stitch By Stitch

  1. Your quilt is lovely. Love your color choices. Can you tell me where I might be able to purchase the Leah Day Bubble Wand pattern? I have found some of her bubbles, but not this one. Thx

  2. Georgous quilt, beautiful colors and beautiful quilting. I love your guilt!
